Tesla Milestone: 1 Billion+ Miles Driven on FSD

1 billion fsd miles

Tesla announced it has reached a major milestone with its Autopilot add-on, Full Self-Driving (FSD), as the company’s customer fleet has driven over 1 billion miles (1.6 billion kilometres).

As you can see from the chart shared by Tesla today, FSD miles driven surged after the company gave out its free one-month trial of FSD 12.3.3 with its recent 2024.3.10 software update.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in response today, “Congrats Tesla AI team!”.

Earlier today, Musk announced Tesla would reveal its Robotaxi on August 8, 2024.

FSD 12.3.3 has been brilliant in our hands-on testing, bringing numerous drives with zero interventions. It’s pretty amazing this is all being done with just cameras. We watched in amazement as FSD 12.3.3 was able to handle construction zones and navigate through roadways made from just cones.
