Here are Some of the Best Giga Texas Factory Tours from Cyber Rodeo [VIDEOS]
A pair of recently published videos from Singapore YouTuber Daren Yoong give us an attendee’s perspective of Tesla’s Cyber Rodeo event last week to celebrate the grand opening of the electric vehicle (EV) maker’s $1.1 billion USD Gigafactory in Austin, Texas.
Yoong’s coverage comprises some of the best videos we’ve seen so far of the Giga Texas factory tour from the Cyber Rodeo event.
Watch part one of Daren Yoong’s Cyber Rodeo coverage below, which includes a full tour of Gigafactory Texas and a look at the Cybertruck:
Check out the second half of Yoong’s coverage below, with an audience POV of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s speech at the event and the Cyber Rodeo party that followed it:
Here are some other great videos showcasing Giga Texas from the Cyber Rodeo event:
Tesla delivered the first Texas-made Model Y cars to customers at Thursday’s event, officially kicking off operations at Giga Texas. While on stage, Musk unveiled the latest prototype of the company’s all-electric Cybertruck, which is slated to start production at Giga Texas next year.
Musk also talked about plans for a dedicated, “futuristic” robotaxi from Tesla, and promised a full North American release of the company’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta software this year.
We also got an update on Optimus — Tesla’s humanoid robot — from the company’s CEO, who said the project should hopefully begin production in 2023. The first Optimus robots will work at Tesla’s own factories, likely starting with Giga Texas where they are expected to be manufactured.
If you missed Tesla’s live stream of the Cyber Rodeo event, you can still watch a replay or a 3-minute “Gigacut” of everything that happened.
