Tesla China Shares Lunar New Year Smartphone Wallpapers
Tesla China has shared four rabbit-themed wallpapers in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, as shared on Twitter by @Yan Chang on Friday.
The four wallpapers include two with rabbit designs appearing near the center, one of which is a geometric outline of the 3D rabbit’s contour lines, while the other shows a filled-in 3D rabbit design. The other two wallpapers include similar designs in the center, instead of at the bottom of the image.
This isn’t the first time Tesla has done something special in China for the holiday. Last year, Tesla launched a Lunar New Year gift basket in China, and a separate gift package including unlimited Supercharging around the holiday.

Two years ago, Tesla also shared ox-themed artwork for the year of the ox, even featuring a slightly hidden “S3XY” message, referring to the four vehicles in its lineup.
A few weeks ago, Tesla announced plans to give its Gigafactory Shanghai employees an extended break for the Lunar New Year. In October, Giga Shanghai remained open for China’s National Day Holiday.
Tesla has also seen major surges in registrations on its vehicles, following price cuts that hit the Chinese auto market and most others worldwide.
