Tesla Details ‘Home Charging Options’ on Website Based on Vehicle
Tesla has updated the support page for home charging on its website, now letting customers select a car model to see detailed information about charging options for that vehicle (via @Tesla_Adri).
On the home charging support page, users can select their Tesla model from a dropdown box, before seeing details like its recharged mileage-per-hour and more.
The page also adds tips for the cost and installation of home charging systems, even including a “find an electrician” tool that can help prospective buyers source local work for the process.
The page also includes a brief video teasing the home charging feature and showing users how to use it from the comfort of their garages.

The move comes after Tesla has decided to no longer include a Mobile Connector for new car purchases, instead adding paid options during checkout for either the Mobile Connector or Wall Connector.
In a J.D. Power survey published in February, Tesla ranked the top home charging system in terms of customer satisfaction.
Tesla head Elon Musk also said the company was considering a heat pump for the home, which Musk says customers will eventually see as an available product for home heating.
A Tesla mobile app update in March also brought new features to the Tesla Powerwall.
