Tesla Aftermarket Parts from Koenigsegg and Unplugged Performance Coming Soon
The Unplugged Performance (UP) racing team has set a number of records in Tesla’s electric vehicles (EVs), and a newly-announced partnership with the team seems a great omen for more victories in the future.
UP announced a new partnership with Swedish Hypercar company Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing (KAM) on Wednesday, according to Motortrend.
While the crew didn’t purchase one of Koenigsegg’s hyper-expensive performance vehicles, it didn’t spend a hefty buck of parts upgrading the team’s Tesla Model 3.
The partnership, which the companies have entitled UP x KAM, sees the addition of a $1,745 USD spoiler set for Model 3 and Y units, while spoilers for the Model S and X are larger and priced at $2,495 USD.
The collaboration is dubbed UP x KAM, as shown by decals on the new products:

In addition, the aftermarket parts include a wide Ascension R front fender for the Model 3, allowing owners to accommodate tires up to 315s – compared to the normal 295s being the largest tires that can be added to the Model 3’s stock setup.
The fender is expected to help with the vehicle’s downforce, while the spoiler increases the vehicle’s aerodynamics significantly.
Last year, UP driver Randy Pobst won the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in a Tesla Model S Plaid, just weeks before the team set records at Laguna Seca raceway in both the Model 3 and the Model S Plaid.
