Over 100 Tesla Model Y Cars Spotted at Gigafactory Berlin [VIDEO]
Tesla is rounding out construction at its German factory, as the U.S. automaker is pumping out more pre-production Model Y units than ever before–for testing purposes only of course.
Tobias Lindh shared a time lapse video of drone footage on Wednesday from Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, complete with even more Model Y units in the facility’s parking lot than we’ve seen yet.
In a tweet, @Lindh said, “I count more than 100 Model Y in the parking lot now.”

The video captures nearly all areas of Gigafactory Berlin’s exterior lots, emphasizing how busy the Grünheide, Germany-based facility already is.
Lindh has been capturing Model Y vehicles outside the Berlin Gigafactory all month, alluding to its imminent opening for the European market.
Still, Tesla awaits final approval on the factory from the Brandenburg Ministry, after the U.S. automaker submitted documents for final approval of the German facility last month.
A report from earlier this month also shows that Tesla is “pushing hard” to begin production at Gigafactory Berlin and Texas by January 26, the same date as its Q4 earnings call.
You can see Lindh’s full construction update from Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin below, including over 100 Model Y units which can be spotted in the back corner lot in some of the video’s early shots.
