Some Tesla Model S, Model 3 Configurations See Delivery Dates Hit June 2022

As Tesla’s Model S has continued to expand its reach beyond the U.S., demand is still increasing delivery times for the unit as more and more orders roll in.

Tesla has pushed back the delivery dates for both its Model S Long Range (LR) with white interiors and the Model S Plaid for reservation holders, according to the company’s website (via @Sawyer Merritt).

With original delivery dates for the white interior Long Range variant ranging from March to April 2022, new orders with the upgraded white interior option are now showing May-June 2022.

Black interior Long Range variants have now been pushed back from March-April to April-May, while Plaid orders have now been pushed back to between February and March.

For the Model 3 Standard Range, the basic 18″ wheel option with aero covers has hit June 2022 as its estimated delivery date. But of course, if you jump on the 19″ Sport Wheels upgrade for $1,500 USD, you can get your Model 3 sooner, in March 2022.

Tesla clearly wants you to pay a bit extra it seems, if you’re not willing to wait.

Demand for various Model S units have continued to increase, with Model S Refresh delivery delays dating back as far as July.

Earlier this month, the first Tesla Model S Refresh orders began arriving in Canada, with Plaid deliveries nearly in sight too.

Tesla Model S Plaid deliveries in Canada are also expected to begin as soon as December, while some countries in Europe are expected to see first Model S Plaid deliveries sometime in Q3.

Tesla also launched online owner’s manuals for its Model S, as well as the Model 3, X and Y units over the weekend.
