Tesla Model S Plaid Spotted with Yoke Steering Wheel, ‘Plaid’ Badging [PICS]

A Tesla Model S Plaid refresh has been spotted out in the wild, in the streets of Palo Alto, California. We continue to see more Model S Plaid versions spotted out testing again.

According to images shared by Zack (@BLKMDL3), we see a Model S Plaid with a yoke steering wheels, red-painted calipers, rear carbon fibre spoiler and factory ‘Plaid’ badging to indicate it’s not just a Long Range version of the electric sedan.

“Just spotted a PLAID Model S!! Had a yoke and plaid badging! This thing is gonna be fire,” said Zack on Friday evening.

Tesla’s Model S Plaid has an estimated 520+ mile range, a 200mph top speed and can do 0-60mph in under 1.99 seconds. The Model S Plaid recently saw a $10,000 USD price increase to $149,990 USD. Its delivery date was recently pushed back to mid-2022.

Earlier this month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk touted the Tesla Model S Plaid is “our best car ever”, while confirming again it would have a 7-seater option.
