Tesla Starts Accepting Questions for Q4 2022 Earnings Call

Tesla is now accepting questions for its fourth-quarter and year-ended December 31, 2022, earnings call, as detailed by Martin Viecha (@MartinViecha), the company’s head of Investor Relations.

The all-electric automaker’s Q4 and full-year 2022 earnings call is scheduled for January 25, 2023, right after the company posts its financial results for the period.

“Tesla management will hold a live question and answer webcast that day at 4:30 p.m. Central Time (5:30 p.m. Eastern Time) to discuss the Company’s financial and business results and outlook,” Tesla says on its Investor Relations website.

Shareholders can submit new questions or vote for existing questions they want to be answered on a ranked voting forum for investors, available here.

According to the forum’s “Information” tab, 6,400 shareholders have already participated in the voting, with over 4.4 million Tesla shares represented. Viecha is listed as the Tesla executive who “may” address shareholders’ questions during the Q&A session.

At the time of writing, the top question, with over 2,400 votes, asks where Tesla management sees the average selling price and gross margins of its vehicles following recent price cuts across all models. The second most-voted question asks if Cybertruck production is still on track for mid-2023.

Earlier this month, Tesla reported a record 405,000 electric vehicle (EV) deliveries for Q4 2022 and an all-time high of 1.3 million units for the year as a whole. Tesla has also announced its 2023 Investor Day, which will take place on March 1 at Gigafactory Texas.
