Tesla’s Supercharging Network Now Spans 40,000+ Chargers in 46 Countries
Tesla announced that its fast-charging network is the largest in the world, including over 40,000 Superchargers across 46 different countries, according to a post made on Twitter on Wednesday.
The automaker notes that its Supercharger stalls can help recover up to 200 miles (275 km) of range within 15 minutes.
The account also explained that Tesla drivers can simply enter their destinations to see a number of charging stations along the way, or tap the Charging icon to view nearby stations.
Additionally, Tesla’s vehicles charge more quickly when their battery levels are low, and the company points out that it usually isn’t necessary to charge all the way to 100 percent.

Later in the thread, Tesla also shared its frequently asked questions page which includes a number of queries about Superchargers such as how fast they charge vehicles, when they’re open and how payment and peak-use rates work.
In recent weeks, Tesla has lowered prices at some of its European Superchargers after a number of price increases hit the region.
Tesla also announced reaching 10,000 Supercharger stalls across mainland China, a key market for the U.S. automaker, also the world’s largest automotive market.
Last year, Tesla unveiled a voting program for new Supercharger locations in which users can vote on proposed charging sites.
