Tesla Reveals Fall 2022 Supercharger Location Winners, Based on Voting [LIST]

After debuting a program that lets Tesla drivers vote on where the next Supercharging stations should be built, the automaker has announced its first round of coming chargers.

Tesla shared the top-voted Supercharger locations in its first round of proposals on Thursday, set to be built in 2023.

The locations included span across North America, Europe and Asia, with Germany, Korea and the U.S. state of California gaining the most sites.

Voting by population seems to dominate the winners. Canada did not see any Supercharger sites picked, for example.

The proposed North American Supercharger sites that were most highly voted include Big Bear Lake and Morro Bay in California, along with Sylva, North Carolina, Lake Okeechobee, Florida and Dalton, Georgia.

In Europe, Tesla highlighted plans to build Supercharger stations in Bolzano, Italy, Pecs, Hungary and in Germany in Dresden, Rostock and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Lastly, Tesla noted plans to build new Supercharger stations in South Korea at Haenam, Pocheon, Seodaemoon and Ganghwa Island, along with one in Iida, Japan.

Tesla is deploying new Superchargers on a constant basis, most recently announcing that the site voting program will refresh with new proposals every three months.

Users will be able to vote on their favorites of the pre-proposed Supercharger sites during the three-month cycles.
