The Tesla Model Y landed Europe’s title for best-selling vehicle in November out of both gas and electric, surpassing the Volkswagen Golf, according to a report from Automotive News Europe.

Data from Dataforce shows that Tesla sold 19,144 Model Y units in November, representing an increase of more than 260 percent year over year. The news also comes after the Model Y was cut from Europe’s top 50 vehicles sold in October, after it had been the region’s best-seller in September.

Placing second in November sales was the Dacia Sandero with 18,746 units sold, marking a 16-percent increase from the same month last year.

Following the Sandero for third was the Toyota Yaris with 17,309 units sold in November for a 150-percent increase year over year.

The Volkswagen Golf also fell from its top-selling spot in October to become the eighth best-selling vehicle in November.

In 2022 through November, Europe has had six different models as monthly best-sellers, with four of the six winning for two or more months.

The Dacia Sandero topped sales in January, the VW Golf in February and October, the Tesla Model 3 in March, the Peugeot 208 from April to June, the Volkswagen T-Roc from July to August, and the Tesla Model Y in September and November.
