Tesla’s electric vehicles (EVs) reached an important milestone in the Norwegian auto market, which remains a key early adopter of EVs.

Norway has surpassed its 100,000th Tesla registered in the country, according to data from TeslaStats. No (via @Morten Grove).

At the time of writing, Tesla has registered a total of 100,088 all-time vehicles in Norway, made up of 25,626 Model Ys, 38,760 Model 3s, 14,129 Model X units and 21,461 Model S units.

Out of all trims and colors, the most common Tesla vehicle in the country is the Long Range Model 3, with 23,360 cumulative units on the country’s roads.

The news comes just a week after the Tesla Model Y became the best-selling vehicle in a single-year in Norway, breaking a record that has been held by the Volkswagen Beetle since 1969. Additionally, Tesla set a daily delivery record last month in Norway with Model Y units from its factory in Grünheide, Germany.

The Tesla Model Y also topped Norwegian sales in November, while battery-electric vehicles in general posted an all-time high in monthly registrations at 15,915 across OEMs.

Tesla’s opening of Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg has also helped the automaker deliver on high demand in Norway, offering wait times of under two months to buyers within the country.
