Tesla Showroom and Service Center in Budapest, Hungary Set to Open Soon
As Tesla continues its expansion throughout the world with the opening of two new Gigafactories, the automaker is also bolstering its network of showrooms and service centers with a new pair of them set to arrive in Hungary.
Tesla plans to open a showroom and service center in Budapest, Hungary soon, according to the Hungarian website e-cars which spotted some shots of a new Tesla sign erected in front of an old car dealership.
The location of the Tesla showroom is at Budapest’s intersection of Váci út and Károlyi István utca, and rumors hold that it could open as soon as May.
The photos also show spots where it appears Tesla is building out charging stalls at the new showroom and service center.
Upon opening the center, Tesla will reportedly also close its pop-up store in MOM Park, as well as its pop-up service center on Zay Street.
Tesla has sold its Tesla to online customers in Hungary and Romania since last May, after opening the pop-up store in Budapest in April.
Additionally, Tesla’s first Megapack power storage system in Hungary is set to be installed by the MET Group in Százhalombatta.
Amidst the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Tesla also offered free Supercharging for those in surrounding areas, including Debrecen, Hungary.
