Fisker Teases New Picture of Ocean Electric SUV, Set to Debut at MWC 2022

Electric vehicle (EV) competition is now increasing more than ever, with Fisker set to debut its new electric SUV by the end of the month.

Fisker will debut the Ocean electric SUV at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, said the company on Friday.

The conference is set to run from February 28 to March 3, and Fisker is set to begin production of the Ocean EV in November 2022.

Fisker CEO Henrik Fisker says the company expects to sell as many as 60,000 Ocean EV units per year in Europe, and to make it “the world’s most sustainable vehicle” as produced at a carbon-neutral factory in Austria.

“I couldn’t be more excited to unveil the Fisker Ocean in Spain and present its unique combination of performance, value, and technology to the European media and prospective owners,” said Fisker in an issued statement to Tesla North.

Fisker continued, “I’m particularly thrilled to announce segment-leading range for the Fisker Ocean.”

The Fisker Ocean starts at a price of $37,499, with the entry-level variant featuring a range of 250 miles.

Upgraded trim options include the Fisker Ocean Extreme with 350 miles of range and a dual-motor AWD drivetrain featuring three driving modes.

Last year, Fisker announced plans to partner with iPhone supplier and future EV manufacturer Foxconn on the development of new EVs.
