You Can Now Buy the Tesla Decanter in the U.S. and Canada

Tesla released Tesla Tequila last year, and the liquor was quick to sell out not long after being unveiled.

Those who missed out on Tesla Tequila can now purchase the company’s decanter on the online Tesla store (via Javier Verdura). The news was shared by Tesla’s Director of Product Design Javier Verdura, who called the Decanter “the next best thing.”

This year, Tesla gave away bottles of Tesla Tequila to some of its Model S Plaid customers at its delivery event earlier this month.

The Tesla Tequila Decanter is listed as $190 (USD) for U.S. customers, and according to the product description, each decanter is hand-blown and no two are alike. The container holds 750 mL of liquid and features a metal stand on which the lightning bolt-shaped bottle can rest.

The Decanter is also available for purchase in Europe and China, along with a couple of Tesla shot glasses, according to statements last year from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Tesla also included a Tesla Tequila easter egg in its showrooms, in which Verdura confirmed that a bottle of the liquor can be seen in a home depicted on a poster featured in the company’s showrooms.

While Tesla initially tried to name the alcohol “Teslaquila,” regulatory officials in Mexico ruled against it due to guidelines surrounding the name “Tequila.”
