Tesla’s highly-anticipated Model S Plaid was released at a delivery event last week, and auto fans across the internet are sharing their experiences with the speedy electric sedan.

On Wednesday, San Francisco-based automotive journalist Jason Cammisa shared photos of the Tesla Model S Plaid on Instagram, including a clip of a 2.14-second acceleration launch from 0 to 60 and a brief review in the caption. Cammisa was able to get hands-on time with a Model S Plaid from a friend, he says.

In the review of the electric vehicle, Cammisa said the car is a “hell of a luxury sedan,” adding that other automakers may not stand much of a shot against Tesla as a result of the car.

In the review, Cammisa said, “Judged as a Chiron-beatingly fast, everyday luxury car, I must say with apologizes to Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz, and every other automaker on the planet: good luck catching up. You’ll need it.”

One twitter user tagged Elon Musk in a screenshot of the review, to which Musk responded “Cool”.

Tesla’s Model S Plaid has a starting price of $129,990, which is far lower than a buyer would find with most luxury sedans – let alone those that are electric and produce no emissions.

The Tesla Model S Plaid recently saw its first independent test by Motortrend, and it’s even set to perform in this year’s upcoming Pikes Peak International Hill Climb operated by driver Randy Pobst.
