Tesla has been offering exclusive trials on enhanced Autopilot this year, and in a new report, the company is doing the same for the European market.

On Wednesday, Tesla owner @tesla_adri confirmed the company has enabled a free trial of Enhanced Autopilot for all its users in Europe. The news came from an official email from Tesla, in which the company offered a free 14-day trial of the upgraded Autopilot driving assistance system, ending on March 31, 2021.

Tesla only brought back Enhanced Autopilot for European customers earlier this year, and it’s already had a lot of traffic (literally!) since then. While most in Europe received a 14-day free trial, lasting through March 31st, some users reported receiving a three-month trial instead. It was also noted that most 2021 Tesla Models did not seem to get the automatically enabled setting, but rather those with 2019 and 2020 models.

Tesla had dropped and re-added the Enhanced Autopilot setting a number of times last year in markets around the world. While Tesla’s Full Self-Driving beta remains only in the United States, Enhanced Autopilot is an option being added for customers in Europe and China, among a few other places.

Many Model 3 owners in Europe are still waiting for Tesla to perform HW3 retrofits, as the date keeps getting delayed by the electric automaker, now set for Q2 2021.
