New V3 Superchargers Being Added at Nürburgring, Germany Station
With Tesla’s operations expanding globally, the electric vehicle (EV) giant will also need to expand charging stations globally – and we’re seeing new Superchargers built nearly every few days. Still, there’s much room for improvement, and the company will likely place expanding the charging network at the forefront of its efforts for the next several years.
On Tuesday, it was shared that Tesla is building new Supercharger stations at its charging site in Nürburgring, Germany, according to a post on Reddit. The post, as shared by Reddit user u/Thebush121, includes a picture of a Tesla employee installing at least two new Superchargers, which are allegedly V3/CCS3 builds.
Battery + Drivetrain > Interior > Exterior
I expect slow evolution of outside like what we saw at Nürburgring. I'd rather get faster charging, better range, and some PLAID performance first.

The Nürburgring charging site is just outside the famous Nürburgring racetrack, on which we witnessed a Tesla Model 3 taking on a Porsche Taycan in September.
It’s also speculated Tesla’s upcoming Plaid Model S will be taking full advantage of this Supercharger ahead of more record-setting laps at Nürburgring.
In the comments, many users on Reddit also speculated as to whether Tesla would leave the original V2 chargers on the site, or if they would be replaced by the new, incoming V3 Superchargers. It is not yet clear whether the V3 chargers have replaced or simply been added to the lineup of V2 chargers at the site.
In either case, the addition of new Tesla Superchargers is welcomed warmly by locals, and being nearby to the Nürburgring racetrack, they’re likely to get a lot of use in the years to come.
