Tesla software update 2026.38.6 has fixed the B.C. Tesla clock that fell back one hour on November 1, according to info shared by Tesla North readers.

One reader said a 2021 Model Y regained the correct local time after installing the build overnight. Another owner reported the same result.

Fleet trackers show 2026.38.6 began rolling out on October 29. Posts on X this week show more cars receiving it.

Published release notes for 2026.38.6 list security improvements and other 2026.38 features, with no mention of a British Columbia or daylight-saving time fix. Tesla has not posted a public note about the clock issue.

British Columbia stayed on permanent daylight time at UTC-7, so November 1 brought no fall-back for most of the province. Neighboring Washington still changed clocks. Affected Teslas on older 2026.38 builds reportedly dropped an hour anyway, and the in-car Time menu offered no manual zone override.

Earlier this week, separate owner reports on X said software 2026.38.5.11 already kept the correct time on some B.C. cars. Drivers watching scheduled charging ahead of a trip to a new B.C. Supercharger or shopping for a new Tesla may want to check which build their car is on.

Has your B.C. Tesla clock returned to the right time after 2026.38.6, or are you still waiting on the update?
