Elon Musk will join Ron Baron for a virtual fireside chat at Baron Capital’s 33rd Annual Baron Investment Conference on November 6, a return that puts Tesla and SpaceX back in front of Baron shareholders who have followed both companies for years.
Baron Capital confirmed the booking in an X post on Tuesday, saying Musk returns “for a virtual fireside chat” with the firm’s founder and CEO “to explore what’s next and the ideas shaping the future.” The session starts at 1:10 PM ET, or 10:10 AM PT.
The conference runs Friday, November 6 at Lincoln Center in New York City. Baron’s official agenda lists the Musk chat in the afternoon Meet the Executives block after lunch and live performances, with Ron Baron moderating.
This year’s theme is “I think you should…,” which Baron Capital frames as taking conviction on ambitious ideas before the outcome is clear. SpaceX’s Starship is the visual for that theme on the firm’s conference materials.
Ron Baron remains one of Tesla’s most outspoken long-term holders, and he recently said the time to buy Tesla stock is now as Full Self-Driving gains traction. That stance sits beside growing talk of a SpaceX combination that Barclays has also tied to a higher Tesla target.
Musk has appeared at past Baron conferences, including a virtual session in 2025 and an in-person interview in New York in 2022. Baron Capital’s funds still hold large Tesla and SpaceX positions, so the November chat will be watched for any update on autonomy, AI, or a possible merger path shareholders are already pressing.
