Tesla Robotaxi said it is now serving more of Dallas, posting a bigger service-area map on August 29 and a follow-up comparison that shows the new geofence stretching well beyond the old central zone.

The first post is a dark in-app map with a white outline over central Dallas and Highland Park. The second, captioned “Computer, enhance! Now serving more of Dallas,” overlays the old geofence in gray and the new one in blue.
On that comparison map, the new line reaches west past Highway 183, east toward Highway 635, and south of Highway 30 along I-35E. Tesla Robotaxi named the city, not a street list or a new square-mile figure.
Dallas has been on the unsupervised Robotaxi map since Tesla opened the city with Houston in April, starting with roughly 30 square miles in Dallas. Paid rides still run on the Model Y fleet, and the network stretched daily hours to 6 a.m. through 10 p.m. this week across Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa.
Tesla has also been staging Cybercabs in Dallas and Austin ahead of the September 3 Austin event. The wider Dallas outline is a service-area change in the existing Robotaxi app, not a Cybercab fare window.
Riders book in the Robotaxi app, so the next check is whether the new outline is already live for every pickup in Dallas, and which Texas city gets the same treatment next.
