Tesla told Hardware 3 owners in Australia on August 28 that Full Self-Driving Supervised v14 Lite is rolling out in North America and South Korea, with active development now underway for Australia and New Zealand.

The company emailed customers that this is meaningful progress toward bringing FSD Supervised to Hardware 3 vehicles, and that it remains committed to delivering it. Tesla Motors Australia signed the note. The email did not name a software build, a start date, or which Model 3 and Model Y cars would get it first.
“We’re currently rolling out FSD (Supervised) v14 Lite to users in North America and South Korea, with active development underway for Australia and New Zealand,” Tesla wrote. v14 Lite is the Hardware 3 cut of the v14 stack. In North America, Hardware 4 cars are on FSD Supervised v14.3.7 and Hardware 3 cars are on v14.1 Lite through Tesla’s unified 2026.21.6 package.
Australia and New Zealand already have FSD Supervised v14 on Hardware 4 since June 19. Hardware 3 owners in those right-hand-drive markets have been waiting on the Lite build. South Korea was the second country after North America to get v14 Lite, and Tesla Korea later logged 50 million supervised kilometres on U.S.-built cars.
Tesla said v14 Lite is designed to work inside Hardware 3’s capabilities while delivering v14 features and keeping safety and performance standards. The company did not say when the Australia and New Zealand cars will see the download.
