Tesla Korea Hits 50 Million Kilometres Driven on Supervised FSD
Tesla Korea announced that drivers in the country have officially logged 50 million cumulative kilometres using Full Self-Driving (Supervised).
The company shared the milestone on X, noting that vehicles are continuously gathering real-world data across domestic roads to help refine the technology and improve mobility for owners. Tesla also reminded drivers that the system requires constant attention and immediate intervention when necessary.
South Korea was the second global market after North America to receive Tesla’s updated software push. Tesla Korea officially introduced FSD (Supervised) v14 Lite, bringing expanded navigation, smoother lane changes, and improved intersection handling to local owners.
The feature is currently limited to a specific portion of the fleet. The over-the-air update was released exclusively for U.S.-built Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, including older models equipped with Hardware 3 (HW3) computers.
Vehicles imported from Tesla’s Gigafactory Shanghai do not have access to the software due to local regulatory approval differences between U.S.-built and Chinese-built imports. Because Shanghai-built vehicles make up the vast majority of Tesla sales in South Korea, most local owners are still waiting for access as Tesla works through regional approvals.
