Tesla Launches FSD Supervised V14 in Australia and New Zealand
Tesla has started rolling out FSD Supervised version 14 to customers in Australia and New Zealand.
For now, the update is only going to vehicles with Hardware 4 (HW4), like the refreshed Model 3 Highland and newer Model Y. Tesla says the new software handles local roads about 20 percent faster than before, with smoother roundabouts, less unnecessary lane drifting, and better deceleration when traffic lights change. The update also brings a cleaner vehicle visualization on screen and improved eye tracking for the in cabin camera, so it can better read drivers wearing sunglasses or dealing with tricky lighting.
This isn’t the first time Tesla has used the region to test things out. Australia and New Zealand served as the company’s right hand drive launchpad back in September 2025, when FSD Supervised v13 first went public there. Before that wider release, the software was limited to closed development tracks and a small group of early access drivers running test trips around Melbourne and Sydney.
HW4 owners can grab the V14 update right now over Wi-Fi. Hardware 3 owners worldwide are still waiting on FSD 14 “lite,” which is supposed to land by the end of June, though a delay wouldn’t be a shock at this point. Tesla is working on a separate build for those older cars, and hopefully it’s a real step up from FSD 12. There’s still no word on when right hand drive HW3 vehicles will see it.
Pricing hasn’t moved. FSD Supervised still runs $149 AUD a month in Australia and $159 NZD a month in New Zealand.
