Tesla Europe is amplifying Swiss Full Self-Driving (Supervised) passenger ride-alongs after Swiss media road-tested the system from a Zurich store, even though consumer FSD is not yet approved in Switzerland.
On August 23, @teslaeurope posted “FSD Supervised in Switzerland,” quoting a rider who said a first supervised demo handled complex situations with no critical intervention and called supervised FSD a “no-brainer” once regulators allow it.
Blick earlier rode shotgun from Tesla’s Zurich city store in a Model 3 bound for Adliswil. A Tesla employee activated FSD (Supervised) with a steering-wheel button; the car handled city and highway tasks while the driver kept hands ready to take over. Blick noted one abrupt aborted turn that required a human handoff. The paper said the software-installable option is already priced around CHF 95 a month, and Tesla is offering supervised passenger demos at five Swiss locations.
Swiss customer use still waits on approval. As of August 20, Blick reported Tesla had not yet filed a request with the Federal Roads Office (Astra). Elsewhere in Europe, supervised FSD has already cleared in markets including the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, and Lithuania.
On the current wide software path, Hardware 4 cars receive FSD (Supervised) v14.3.7 while Hardware 3 owners run FSD (Supervised) v14.1 Lite through Tesla’s unified 2026.21.6 package—the same branch that left a Wall Street Journalcritic “bewitched” after a two-hour Model Y drive. Swiss ride-alongs put that supervised stack in front of European passengers before local retail unlock.
