Tesla Showroom and Service Center Coming to Franklin, Tennessee
Tesla is set to open a new flagship store and service center in Franklin, Tennessee, sometime in mid-2023, according to a press release (via the Nashville Business Journal).
The company will occupy a 57,447-square-foot building located on 7 acres at 300 Shingle Way, Franklin, in Williamson Country, TN. Per property deeds, the site is owned by TriOut Advisory Group, a Florida-based real estate company that purchased it in 2019.
“Having a partner like Tesla perfectly aligns with our values to bring premier clients to our properties while preserving the local environment with our acquisitions,” said TriOut Advisory Group principal Mike Outlaw in the news release.
Tesla is going to turn the building into a full-fledged showroom and service center, complete with Superchargers. The electric vehicle (EV) maker will neighbor vehicle dealerships for veteran automakers like Mercedes-Benz, Infiniti, Hyundai and more in Cool Springs.
Tesla already has a location in Brentwood at 1641 Westgate Circle, along with a service center in Knoxville. The company has not said if the Franklin location will expand its presence in Tennessee or replace one of its existing locations in the state.
A storefront of this size can cost a pretty penny, considering a report from last month indicated that Tesla will spend millions on a 60,000-square-foot showroom and service center in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
