SpaceX Adds Starlink IP Addresses for French Guiana, Other Super Remote Islands
SpaceX shared new Starlink IP addresses for several super remote islands and one coastal territory, as spotted and shared by @Nathan Owens on Wednesday.
Owens noted Starlink IPs on the remote regions of Mayotte, Reunion and the Solomon Islands, and in the South American coastal country of French Guiana.
The news seems to signal that Starlink may soon to become operational in remote areas, though the Starlink coverage map still does not show the service as available in the regions.

The announcement is the latest in SpaceX’s expansion plans for the satellite internet service, and it comes just a few days after the company announced it has reached one million active Starlink users.
The service has also recently landed in super remote locations worldwide and has been praised for boosting connectivity compared to alternatives.
Starlink launched on Easter Island and the Pitcairn Islands last month, and it now covers some of the northernmost countries and regions on Earth, recently expanding across all of Canada, Alaska, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
It’s now also available surrounding both the North Pole and the South Pole, with high compliments coming from a research team in Antarctica for its performance despite the harsh climate conditions.
