As customers around the world wait for their copies of Tesla’s high-end performance sedan, the automaker is officially preparing to expand the vehicle into one more European country.

Tesla is delivering its premium sedan, the Model S Plaid, in Sweden from November through December of this year, as shown in a confirmation email sent to customers (via @AndersSoderqviser).

The email came to customers who have already placed a preorder for the Model S Plaid, confirming that they’ll be ready for pickup with updated trim and upgrade options.

In the email, as translated from Swedish, Tesla wrote, “Your Model S Plaid will be ready for pickup in November through December of this year. We will soon invite you to confirm your configuration and complete the steps for delivery Our design studio has now been updated with the latest product details and options.”

Others chimed in to say they also received the same Model S Plaid email updates for Germany. Tesla North reader @KimCJorgensen says Denmark is seeing the Long Range Model S deliver in 2023.

Tesla also made the Model S Plaid with a tow hitch available in Europe this week.

The Tesla Model Y was the best-selling electric vehicle (EV) in Sweden in June, followed by the Volkswagen ID.4, the Kia Niro, the Skoda Enyaq and the Audi E-Tron.

Tesla’s models have been bouncing back and forth between landing ahead of and behind the ID.4, with the ID.4 even taking best-seller in Sweden in May — amidst Tesla’s COVID-19 lockdowns at Giga Shanghai.
