2022 Tesla Model S Plaid Refresh: Closer Look at Headlights, Tail Lights [VIDEO]
JacobIsAMac has shared another video detailing his newly delivered 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid refresh, this time giving us yet another closer look at the new lights on the sedan.
The video shows the refreshed Model S unit’s new matrix LED headlights and tail lights as well as the vehicle’s new charging port.
According to the video’s description, delivery of the vehicle took place on February 27.
The Model S Plaid shown in the video features a black paint job and the newly-added Plaid badge that was initially only offered on Launch Editions of the vehicle.
Earlier this week, the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) changed the rules on drag racing to allow the Tesla Model S Plaid to compete, along with other 9-second quarter-mile cars that don’t include a roll cage.
A number of refreshed Tesla Model S Plaid units were also seen last month aboard a delivery truck in California.
Tesla began teasing the refreshed Model S Plaid with new tail lights at the beginning of February on its website, just a few weeks before the first customers began taking delivery of the vehicle.
