YouTube TV App on Tesla? Send Feedback, Says Google

@Tesla Silicon Valley Club tagged Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Sunday, asking if the automaker had plans to support YouTube TV in its vehicles. The app allows for live TV and other channels as part of a subscription program, but so far it’s not available as a native app in Tesla vehicles.
TeamYouTube responded by encouraging hopeful users to send feedback to YouTube to add support for use in Tesla’s vehicles.
In the post, @TeamYouTube said “We can’t speak for Elon, but you can help make it happen on our end! Share your thoughts using the YouTube TV app.”

To access the feedback settings, users simply need to click their profile picture, then click send feedback, which the company says it uses for “troubleshooting problems, fixing issues and making improvements.”
One user noted that the app could be debuted with the upcoming Tesla app store, though the validity of that is not yet clear — and the app store is largely just a rumor, for now.
One designer created a concept design of what the Tesla app store could look like, going viral with a reimagined Tesla software V11.
Earlier this month, Tesla hinted at the possibility of yearly subscriptions to come, along with debuting actionable notifications.
The Tesla app also added the ability to see your car’s specs and warranty expiration dates at the beginning of the month.
