Tesla Giga Berlin: More Model Y Cars Spotted Outside, New Graffiti Art [VIDEO]

Drone pilot Tobias Lindh has shared yet another construction update on Tesla’s Gigafactory in Berlin, Brandenburg, this time with footage of the site from Saturday, February 12.

The drone footage shows both the southern and northern roads being paved with asphalt, as well as scaffolding support from the first floor of the main building’s lobby being removed and insulation being installed.
The battery cell production building is coming along nicely, with this latest update showing that concrete has already been poured on the top floor.
In last week’s Giga Berlin construction update from Lindh, Tesla North counted some 190 Model Y units produced at the facility parked in the lots outside. The latest footage from the site indicates that the number has grown significantly, with even more Model Ys now parked outside, the majority in black color.
Tesla is still awaiting final permit approval for Gigafactory Berlin, but it looks like testing and pre-production runs at the facility are going well.
The drone footage showcases the construction crew’s expansion of the new rainwater infiltration basin and also gives us yet another look at the graffiti art adorning the external walls of Giga Berlin, with some new art spotted as well (5:40 mark).
