Tesla’s Model Y only debuted in China last January, and the electric SUV has been making waves of good reviews ever since.

The ratings include four different categories, with the Model Y being awarded five stars in every category.

In addition to the Model Y receiving high ratings, the Tesla Model 3 was also granted a perfect score in the health index, covering Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and those in vehicles and particulate matter, and more.
The China Automobile Health Index ratings were released by the China Automobile Research Institute, according to Tesla.
The Tesla Model Y was China’s best-selling electric SUV in 2021, having delivered a record 40,500 units in the country.
The news comes ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, for which Tesla has also prepared a few special offerings for its customers.
Last week, Tesla China also unveiled its 2022 gift basket for Lunar New Year, with the holiday set to begin on February 1.
The automaker also launched an unlimited Supercharging gift package in the country for Lunar New Year for a small price.
