Tesla Updates Owner’s Manuals to 2021.44
According to Reddit user Daytona360, Tesla has updated the online owner’s manuals for all of its electric vehicles (EVs) to software version 2021.44, which started rolling out earlier this month.
Back in September, Tesla shifted the owner’s manuals for all of its cars from PDFs to an interactive, online format that made it much easier for users to find exactly what they’re looking for.
Users can easily click through sections and sub-sections of the guide and even access it from their Tesla’s built-in internet browser. What’s more, clicking through an interactive knowledge base is a much more pleasant experience than searching your way through a 200+ page PDF to get to a specific item.
The updated online owner’s manuals are live on Tesla’s website, and you can access the one for your specific car and language here:
- Model S (2021+) Owner’s Manual
- Model 3 Owner’s Manual
- Model X (2015-2020) Owner’s Manual
- Model Y Owner’s Manual
With Tesla’s 2021 holiday software update rolling out with firmware version 2021.44.25 earlier this week and bringing a completely refreshed UI (V11.0), though, the updated owner’s manual is already a bit out of date.
The holiday update not only includes V11.0 software based on the User Interface from the 2021+ Model S and Model X, but it also overhauls the controls and introduces new features like ‘Light Show’ and ‘Dark Mode’.
