First Look at Tesla’s $1,900 Cyberquad for Kids [VIDEO]
On December 1, Tesla launched the Radio Flyer-made Cyberquad for Kids with an estimated shipping date of 2-4 weeks.
A little over a fortnight after launch, customers who were lucky enough to snag one before they were sold out have started receiving their mini Cyberquads, even though Tesla said orders were not guaranteed to arrive before the holidays.
Not only did Tesla investor and Twitter user @ARTEM_TSLA luck out and manage to bag a couple of Cyberquads for Kids, they even received their orders on Friday — just in time for the holidays.
@ARTEM_TSLA proceeded to share some of the first hands-on images we’ve seen of the all-electric ATVs for kids, as well as glimpses of their first experience with them, on Twitter.

The Cyberquad for Kids features a 36-volt lithium-ion battery pack, offering up to 15 miles (24 km) of range per charge. The mini ATV can achieve a top speed of 10 mph (16 km/h), and easily charges in five hours or so while plugged into a regular residential electrical outlet.

“So fun to ride those, even for adults,” said the Tesla investor and enthusiast in a follow-up tweet.
The mini ATV is rated for a maximum weight of 150 lbs, but @ARTEM_TSLA, who weighs about 170 lbs, was able to comfortably ride it. They also added that it was “very easy to assemble,” only taking them around 30 minutes.
Cyberquad for Kids launched exclusively in the U.S. for $1,900 USD. The all-electric mini ATV sold out immediately, but it didn’t take long for scalpers to start listing units on eBay for over $10,000.
A full-size version of the Tesla Cyberquad for adults has been seen on display at some Tesla events and was even spotted in a recent promotional video for the Cyberquad for Kids. The full-size version is expected to launch around the same time as the heavily-delayed Cybertruck.
