GMC has shared its third upcoming all-electric vehicle, following the company’s unveiling earlier this year of both the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and the GMC Hummer EV SUV.

On Wednesday, GMC announced its upcoming electric Sierra Denali pickup model, also sharing a new teaser video of the EV, according to a press release.

GMC Vice President Duncan Aldred said, “Sierra Denali holds tremendous equity for GMC and our customers.” Aldred continued, “We now have an opportunity to evolve Sierra’s capabilities and technologies, as afforded by transitioning to an all-electric propulsion while also elevating the luxurious design and comfort associated with Denali.”

The vehicle will be built on General Motors’ (GM’s) Ultium Drivetrain and will be built at GM’s Factory ZERO assembly plants in Detroit and Hamtramck, Michigan.

While it’s unclear as of yet when the pickup will become available or how much it will cost, the video depicts new premium lighting on the unit’s front end and it says the vehicle will be offered a full reveal in 2022.

Earlier this month, GM also announced plans to invest $3 billion USD into building EVs in Michigan, with plans to convert a Detroit factory into an all-electric production facility.
