Tesla Now Lets You Know Exact Supercharger Stalls Out of Order

According to a Friday tweet from Karen Baumer (@phibetakitten), who owns both a Model 3 and a Model S, Tesla’s cabin User Interface (UI) has gained a pretty handy new feature: the ability to display exactly which stalls at a Supercharger site are currently ‘out of order’.

Prior to the change, the UI simply told users how many stalls a specific Supercharger had in total, and how many of them were currently available. However, users were not given any information on whether any of the available Supercharger stalls were out of order.

Getting to a Supercharger installation with just one available stall, only to find out that stall’s currently not in working order wasn’t a pleasant experience at all — and this new feature will go a long way in remedying that.

Tesla owners can now pull up a Supercharger location in the UI and not only make sure it has available stalls, but also find out if any of them are out of order.

Last week, Tesla’s Supercharging network hit a major milestone when it broke 30,000 locations (and counting) worldwide. Tesla is constantly working on upgrading the network and bringing new features to it.

Tesla began rolling out Starlink Wi-Fi to Supercharger locations in the U.S. last week, and earlier in the year, the company started upgrading its 250 kW V3 Superchargers to 300 kW charging speeds.
