According to a tweet from the official Twitter account of Tesla’s Supercharging team (@TeslaCharging), the electric vehicle (EV) maker’s first Supercharger site in Alaska is now online.

Tesla is rapidly expanding its Supercharger network across the globe, and this new installation in Alaska marks the company’s northernmost North American Supercharger station yet. As of last week, Tesla has a total of 30,000 Superchargers worldwide.

The new Supercharger is located at the Whistle Stop at 43540 Kleeb Loop, Soldotna, AK, and houses a total of four top-of-the-line V3 stalls capable of delivering up to 250 kW of power output per car. Like most of Tesla’s Superchargers, the location is open 24/7 and has a couple of restaurants and other amenities nearby.

Tesla broke ground on the Soldotna Supercharger back in August, which gives the site a completion time of a little under three months — not too shabby.

Tesla is not only building new Superchargers but is also working on improving the ones that are already up and running. Last week, the company started rolling out Starlink Wi-Fi to Superchargers in the U.S. to offer yet another facility to Tesla owners.
