Back on New Year’s Day, Tesla unveiled upgrades for its Model 3 in China, in the form of heating steering wheel and revised door trim, alongside the launch of the Model Y in the country.
At the time, the new door trim was exclusive to Tesla vehicles in China, but now it appears it has landed in the United States as well.
Tesla’s U.S. website now shows the Model 3 with matching door trim, that extends past the dash, just like the Model 3 in China.
This latest change is just one of many silent updates Tesla has made on its website in the past 24 hours:
- Increased price of Model 3 and Model Y
- Offers Model 3 with 151 km range in Canada
- Lowers vehicle deposit to $100 (was $2,500) for Canada
- Increases price of paint, wheels, white interior in Europe
Also Austria reporting Tesla Website was updated with higher prices for paint, wheels and white interior. Plus: it shows now the new door cards! EAP still present. pic.twitter.com/xhmv8BVa0N
