According to The Chilliwack Progress, Fraser Valley, B.C., Canada, is about to get its very first Tesla showroom as the electric vehicle (EV) giant is set to take over what is currently a Jonker Nissan dealership located in the age-old car dealership row along the Langley Bypass.

The location of the Nissan dealership in the 19500 block of the Langley Bypass will now be leased to Tesla, confirmed a Jonkers representative.
Darren Graham, CEO of Applewood Auto Group, confirmed he will be taking over the Jonker Nissan location, which will now move to an Applewood location near the intersection of the Langley Bypass and Fraser Highway.
Graham is not aware of Tesla’s exact plans for the site, but did mention that he expects the company to operate a full-fledged dealership and showroom out of the premises.
Once operational, the location will be the first Tesla showroom south of the Fraser River and the only one east of Vancouver in the Lower Mainland. Currently, there’s a Tesla sales center in downtown Vancouver and another in West Vancouver, while a third is sales and service center in Vancouver on West 4th.
