Tesla’s Gigafactory in Shanghai, China, is pumping out an insane number of Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, according to the latest drone flyover of the site, shared by Wu Wa on YouTube.

The highlight of this 16-minute flyover, is the right-hand drive build of numerous Tesla Model 3 cars, which are rumoured to be sent overseas. There are also a huge lot of Model Y builds which are trying to keep up with demand for the SUV, which launched sales in China back on New Year’s day.

“The long-rumored overseas version of the right-hand drive of the Model 3 has finally emerged,” explained Wu Wa, in the video uploaded on January 14, 2021.

“Today we went to the Shanghai factory to shoot, we saw the vehicles parked in the factory, in addition to the Model Y, there are new cars with protective film, which is obviously provided to the overseas market, and this batch of export vehicles for the right-hand drive Model 3, so this batch of cars will be shipped to that country?”, speculated Wu Wa.

The video shows a Tesla employee reversing a right-hand drive Model 3 into a sun shade-covered parking area.

With its proximity in the region, Gigafactory Shanghai would support nearby markets such as Australia, New Zealand, or Japan and even those in Southeast Asia. Tesla’s factory in Shanghai started to export Model 3 orders to Europe last fall.

As for Tesla’s goal of delivering the first Model Y orders later in January? Wu Wa believes it won’t be a problem, based on the footage of the SUVs seen all over Giga Shanghai.

“We saw the site full of new cars parked all over the site with Model Y vehicles, which seems to mean that there should be no problem with delivery at the end of January,” explained the YouTuber.

Check out the flyover below—seeing all these Model 3 and Model Y units is quite a feast for the eyes. Someone in the video comments counted over 1,300 cars in the flyover, which if true, is darn impressive:
