We continue to keep learning more about Tesla’s Model 3 refresh, which gains factory chrome delete, a heat pump, new center console, power trunk and more.
Now, we’re seeing Tesla confirm for the first time Model 3 now includes better sound proofing as well, according to an email sent out to customers from Tesla Sweden.
Reddit user ‘Adsa95’ shares a picture of an email sent from Tesla Sweden that translate into:
“This winter you can drive the new Model 3 with a range of up to 580 km (WLTP).
The new Model 3 Performance and Long Range now comes as standard with a new and upgraded climate system that maximises efficiency and range in cold climates.
All new Model 3s now also have new interior and exterior upgrades, such as black door handles and better sound proofing in the cabin.”
The email also explicitly confirms a new heat pump on Model 3 as well, allowing for the latter to match its Model Y sibling, plus allow for an increase in range.
A Google Translate of the last line of the email reads, “and better sound attenuation in the passenger compartment,” essentially verifying what was shared above. The Model 3 refresh also includes EMEA headlights as well and laminated front glass.
