Tesla’s APAC recruiting manager says the company is “officially coming to Vietnam” and has posted its first five local jobs, a hiring push that follows the September registration of Tesla Motors Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ricky Ip, who recruits for Tesla across Asia Pacific, listed the openings on X and linked each one to Tesla’s own careers pages.

The five full-time roles are Sales Manager, Service Manager, HR Business Partner, Purchasing Manager, and Project Developer, Charging. Each listing is tagged for Vietnam on Tesla’s hiring portal, with no city named on the job cards.

Sales and service leadership sit beside an HR partner to build the local team, a purchasing manager for APAC indirect sourcing, and a charging project developer who will find sites and negotiate host deals for Tesla charging products.

Vietnam’s business registry put Tesla Motors Vietnam LLC on the books in September with about $3 million in charter capital for vehicle import and sales. That filing cleared a formal path into the market without a launch date or model lineup, and today’s job posts still do not add either.

Asia expansion has moved in parallel elsewhere, from a third Delhi-area showroom in Noida to Model Y L deliveries in Singapore and a wider Model Y L rollout across Asian markets.

Which of those five Vietnam roles do you expect Tesla to fill first?
