Tesla has opened a new service center in Jeonju, South Korea, and owners can already book appointments there through the Tesla app.
That’s according to Tesla Korea, which posted the news on X on Sunday evening with photos of the site. “Tesla is continuing to expand its service network,” the company wrote. “Now you can conveniently use Tesla service in the Jeonbuk region too.”
The address is 458 Ongoeul-ro, Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, in North Jeolla (Jeonbuk State), in the city’s Yeoui-dong neighbourhood.
Jeonju is the capital of North Jeolla, in the southwest of the country. Tesla Korea framed the opening as bringing service to the Jeonbuk region but didn’t say where local owners had been going until now.
The timing fits Tesla’s run in Korea. The Model Y just topped all car sales in the country for a third straight month, and Tesla Korea’s CEO recently faced lawmakers over who gets FSD. More cars on the road means more cars needing service.
Tesla Korea didn’t say how many service bays the site has, what hours it keeps, or whether it handles body repair.
Jeonju is best known for bibimbap. Now it can add tire rotations to the menu.
Are you a Tesla owner in Jeonbuk? Will this save you a long drive?
