Tesla Model 3 was Singapore’s best-selling sedan in August 2026, giving the EV maker another sales milestone in the country as it continues expanding its vehicle lineup and customer base.
On October 2, Tesla Singapore said in a post on X that the Model 3 took the top spot among sedans for the month, citing vehicle registration data from Singapore’s Land Transport Authority. The company shared a graphic showing a white Model 3 on a coastal road, with an LTA source note included at the bottom.
The result adds to Tesla’s recent momentum in Singapore, where the company has been steadily building its presence. In April, Tesla hit its 10,000th customer milestone in Singapore, marking a major benchmark for the brand in the market.
A month later, Tesla delivered the first Model Y L units in Singapore, expanding the choices available to local buyers beyond the Model 3 and other existing Tesla vehicles.
The August 2026 sedan result also comes as the Model 3 posts notable sales performances in other international markets. Most recently, the Model 3 became the first EV to rank #1 in Spain, while the Model Y topped France, adding to a string of recent European sales wins for Tesla.
As Tesla’s entry-level sedan, the Model 3 remains one of the company’s key vehicles for reaching buyers looking for a smaller and less expensive alternative to its SUVs. Tesla did not provide additional Singapore registration figures in its October 2 post beyond confirming the Model 3’s August ranking.
Attention will now turn to whether the Model 3 can maintain that momentum through the remaining months of 2026, while Tesla continues expanding its lineup and customer base in Singapore.
