Tesla Upgrades Korea Model 3 With V2L, 16-Inch Display, New Seats

Tesla is upgrading Model 3 vehicles delivered in Korea starting in October 2026 with a 16-inch center display, black headliner, new Zen Grey seat color and Vehicle to Load support, while Model Y deliveries will also gain V2L for drawing power from the vehicle’s high-voltage battery for external use.
Tesla said some Model 3 specifications will change beginning in October, including a center display with improved resolution and pixel density. The updated screen measures 16 inches.
The cabin changes also include a black headliner and the release of a new Zen Grey seat color. Tesla said the updates apply to the Model 3 Premium Long Range RWD and other trims, with detailed changes available through Tesla stores. Zen Grey has been expanding across Tesla’s lineup, including the Model Y in Europe and Giga Shanghai builds.
V2L, or Vehicle to Load, is also being added to Model 3 and Model Y vehicles delivered in Korea starting in October 2026. Tesla described V2L as bidirectional charging technology that “pulls power stored in the EV’s high-voltage battery for external use.”
The addition gives the battery another use beyond powering the vehicle itself, allowing stored electricity to be drawn for external purposes. That makes V2L one of the more significant functional changes arriving alongside the Model 3’s interior and display updates.
Tesla noted that the V2L product and vehicle shown in its announcement are versions intended for overseas sale.
For buyers in Korea, October deliveries will bring both visible Model 3 changes and a new power capability shared with Model Y. Customers considering an affected Model 3 trim can check Tesla stores for the exact specification updates before taking delivery. The updates follow Tesla’s rollout of FSD Supervised v14 Lite for Model 3 and Y in South Korea.
