FAA Lists Starship Flight 14 Window for September 22

The Federal Aviation Administration’s Current Operations Plan Advisory now lists SpaceX Starship Flight 14 from Starbase, Texas, with a primary airspace window on September 22, 2026, from 12:15 to 14:14 UTC (7:15 to 9:14 a.m. Central Time) and the same hours held as a backup on September 23.

In the advisory dated September 15, 2026, the planned launch and reentry block reads “SPACEX STARSHIP FLT-14, STARBASE, TX,” alongside other SpaceX entries such as a Vandenberg Starlink window later in the week. These notices tell the national airspace system when to plan around a flight. They are not a SpaceX webcast time, and they do not by themselves prove every launch-license condition is already closed.

September 22 is still the clearest public date yet for a mission framed as Starship’s first true orbital attempt and its first revenue hop with production Starlink V3 satellites. SpaceX earlier asked the FCC for Flight 14 radios covering an orbital second stage with a communications window starting September 15, and CFO Bret Johnsen told investors the flight is meant to generate revenue with Starlink V3. Hardware work around Starbase has kept moving in parallel, including recent Mechazilla catch rehearsals tied to later flight hardware.

Treat September 22 as the FAA’s current airspace plan, not a locked countdown clock. SpaceX still has to stack, clear weather and range, and green-light the attempt, and Starship dates have slipped before. If the stack flies in that Tuesday window, Flight 14 becomes the first public test of whether Starship can put revenue Starlink birds into a real orbit instead of another suborbital dress rehearsal.
