SpaceX completed Falcon’s 700th overall mission on Sunday, September 13, 2026, when a Falcon 9 lifted the final three SES O3b mPOWER satellites from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 2:49 p.m. ET.
The company confirmed deployment of all three Boeing-built O3b mPOWER satellites into medium Earth orbit, finishing a 13-spacecraft constellation SpaceX has lofted across six Falcon 9 flights since December 2022. About nine minutes after liftoff, first-stage booster B1080 stuck the landing on the Atlantic droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas on its 29th flight.
SpaceX later posted a photo set marking the milestone: “Falcon completes its 700th overall mission.” The Falcon family includes five Falcon 1 flights, 13 Falcon Heavy launches, and the rest on Falcon 9. Sunday’s flight was also among SpaceX’s roughly 107 orbital missions so far in 2026, with Falcon 9 carrying the bulk of that cadence.
The commercial Florida flight sits beside Starbase work toward the next Starship catch rehearsals, after Tesla North had flagged Sunday’s triple mPOWER stack ahead of the window. With the constellation complete and Falcon past 700 flights, SpaceX keeps stacking revenue missions while Starship prep continues in Texas.
