SpaceX is targeting Sunday, September 13 for a Falcon 9 launch of the SES O3b mPOWER mission to medium Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, with an 87-minute window opening at 2:49 p.m. ET.
The flight is set to loft three O3b mPOWER satellites for SES, making it the first mPOWER mission to carry three spacecraft at once after earlier flights that typically orbited two. A live webcast begins about 15 minutes before liftoff on the SpaceX mission page and on X @SpaceX. If Sunday slips, SpaceX lists a backup window Monday, September 14 with the same timing.
This will be the 29th flight for the first-stage booster supporting the mission. That booster previously flew Ax-2, Euclid, Ax-3, CRS-30, SES ASTRA 1P, NG-21, and 22 Starlink missions. After stage separation, SpaceX plans to land the booster on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
O3b mPOWER is SES’s next-generation medium-Earth-orbit broadband constellation, built by Boeing to deliver high-throughput connectivity for enterprise and government customers. Deployment of the three satellites is timed for roughly 34 to 48 minutes after liftoff on SpaceX’s published timeline.
The Florida flight keeps Falcon 9 cadence humming while Starbase prep continues for Starship Flight 14, which trackers still point toward mid-to-late September with production Starlink V3 satellites — work that includes recent Ship 42 catch rehearsals at Pad 2. Sunday’s commercial mission is a more routine, revenue-bearing lift, but the triple-satellite stack is a new wrinkle for the mPOWER program.
