Tesla Europe said the Model 3 now comes with 572 kilometres of range in European left-hand-drive markets, up from 534 kilometres, after a tire change posted on August 28.
The official account wrote that the gain is thanks to new tires and attached a photo of a Model 3 on a European road. In a follow-up, Tesla Europe said the update applies to all European LHD markets.
That is a 38-kilometre step on the same nameplate, not a new battery pack. Tesla Europe did not name the tire brand, the specific Model 3 variant, or a price change. The 572-kilometre figure is the official European number in the post.
Right-hand-drive markets sit outside that LHD line. Tesla Europe did not say whether the United Kingdom or Ireland get the same tires or the same rated range. The company also did not say whether cars already on the road can pick up the extra kilometres with a tire swap.
The range note lands the same week Tesla Europe logged 100 million supervised kilometres on Full Self-Driving in Europe and the Model Y held the region’s EV sales lead. Tesla has not posted a matching Model Y tire change.
Tesla Europe did not say when configurators in every LHD country will show 572 kilometres, or whether the new tires are already on cars leaving the factory. The official line for now is Model 3, 572 kilometres, new tires, and every European left-hand-drive market.
